About Us

The Paul Coverdell National Acute Stroke Registry grant was awarded by CDC to the Minnesota Department of Health (MDH) in June 2007. In conjunction with the MDH, the Minnesota Stroke Registry is coordinated by the University of Minnesota Division of Epidemiology and Community Health and the University of Minnesota Department of Neurology Stroke Center. The Minnesota Stroke Registry Advisory Committee also provides leadership and guidance to this program.

Dr. Albert W. Tsai is the principal investigator and program manager. The co-investigators are Dr. Russell V. Luepker and Dr. Kamakshi Lakshiminarayan.
